On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. (RGM) proudly participated in the PTC Career Day 2025. This annual event connects students from the Polytechnic College (PTC) with leading companies and career opportunities across various industries.
Representing RGM were members of the HR Talent Team in collaboration with several departments, including Mill Planning, Mill Electrical, Mine Maintenance, Mill Lab, Mine Exploration, and Communications. Together, they introduced students to the wide range of career paths available at RGM such as Electrical & Mechanical Engineering.
Throughout the event, PTC students engaged directly with RGM professionals, many of whom shared similar study backgrounds. The interaction allowed students to gain valuable insights into mining operations, technical processes, and professional growth within the industry. A total of 46 students attended the session, and registering for job and internship opportunities.
RGM’s participation aligns closely with the Zijin Group’s global commitment to sustainable development, local capacity building, and education. Through events like these, RGM continues to invest in Suriname’s human capital by:

The event carried an inspiring message for all attendees: “Jouw toekomst begint hier! Kom langs, laat je inspireren en zet de eerste stap richting jouw droombaan.” This perfectly reflected the event purpose for companies to connect, inspire, and invest in Suriname’s future workforce.
