On October 29, 2025, Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. (RGM) participated in the Anton de Kom University of Suriname, Faculty of Technological Sciences (FTeW) Intro Week 2025. The session welcomed first-year students embarking on their academic journey in technology and applied sciences.

The event, organized annually by the ADEK Student Commission, aims to familiarize incoming students with career paths and opportunities in their chosen fields. Representing RGM were Queeni Eduards, HR Lead Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, and Gilian Alimoenadi, Senior Mine Exploration Geologist, who provided an in-depth presentation about Zijin Rosebel, its Mine Technical Department, and the career development pathways available within the company.
Their presentation focused on creating awareness about career opportunities in the mining sector, while highlighting the importance of education, innovation, and sustainability in the development of Suriname’s future workforce.
