Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines is participating in the SZVB Bedrijvencompetitie 2025–2026, a corporate indoor football competition organized by the Surinaamse Zaalvoetbal Bond.
The main objective of the competition is to promote health through sports, based on the principle that health goes hand in hand with physical activity. By bringing companies together on the field, the competition encourages both physical wellbeing and positive interaction among participants.
General Information
This season, a total of 13 teams are taking part in the SZVB Bedrijvencompetitie. The participating organizations include KPS, KBS, KPA, SZF, Telesur, Fernandes, EBS, TP, Contact Care, Concentrix, CFOS, OX88, and Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines.
The competition officially started on 29 October 2025 and will run until March 2026.
Competition Format and Schedule
The competition is currently played in a league format. After six matches, teams that remain in the top eight will advance to the playoff phase. Matches are usually played during the weekend, depending on the competition leadership. All matches are held at the well-known National Indoor Stadium.
During the most recent match on Sunday, 1 February 2026, Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines recorded a 4–4 draw against CFOS / Van der Jagt NV.
Engagement and Impact
Indoor football is very popular among sporters, making this edition of the SZVB Bedrijvencompetitie an attractive and engaging event for all participating teams. Although there have not yet been specific highlights or key moments, the competition already contributes very positively to teamwork, health, and networking among the participating companies.

Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines is participating in the SZVB Bedrijvencompetitie for the first time and is performing well in this large competition. For a debut season, the team is holding its ground and is currently positioned sixth in the overall standings. Team morale within the Zijin Rosebel squad is very positive. The players are motivated and remain hopeful as the competition progresses, showing strong commitment and enthusiasm throughout the season.
In addition to Zijin Rosebel employees, the team is also strengthened by contractors participating as part of the Zijin Rosebel squad, including SEMC, De Man, Pansa and Sons, PPS, TIB, and Mine-Quip. Their participation reflects the strong collaboration between Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines and its contracting partners.
