On September 6, 2025, the Youth Summit Suriname 2025 took place under the theme “Exploring Future Jobs and Business Opportunities.”
This one-day event brought together many young people from different backgrounds and young entrepreneurs to gain inspiration, develop skills, and expand their networks.
Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines was present as an exhibitor and offered participants the opportunity to learn more about working at one of the largest mining companies in Suriname.
Our booth attracted many young people who were interested in:
Information about available positions and career opportunities at Zijin Rosebel;
An explanation of the application process, from CV submission to interviews;
Practical tips on how to better prepare for a career in the mining sector;
Personal contact with the company’s HR and communications staff.
In addition, interested young people had the opportunity to fill out an application form on the spot and immediately submit their cover letter, allowing them to take the first step toward a possible career with Zijin Rosebel.
The Youth Summit gave us, as a company committed to youth empowerment, the chance to connect directly with young Surinamese talent.
