Position 1: HR Supervisor

Job Description

As HR Superintendent of ZCS, you provide frontline HR support to mine-site leaders and employees. You own the employee lifecycle (hiring → onboarding → payroll inputs → performance → training → offboarding), ensure compliance with Surinamese labor law, support rotations/rosters and partner with HSE and Operations to build a high-performance, safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent acquisition: coordinate requisitions, job postings, screening, interviews, offers; drive time-to-fill for site and technical roles.
  • HR administration & payroll inputs: maintain employee files, time & attendance, leave/OT approvals, allowances, shift premiums; reconcile with Payroll monthly.
  • Rotations & workforce planning: keep roster, vacation, and relief plans accurate for 14/7 or 7/7 rotations (as applicable).
  • Training & competency: track matrix, schedule mandatory refreshers (HSE, equipment authorizations), capture completion in HRIS.
  • Employee relations: coach supervisors on policy, progressive discipline, investigations; support union/worker council interactions.
  • Permits & expats: coordinate work/residence permits (e.g., AV/MKV/VTV) with third parties and internal stakeholders.
  • Policies & SOPs: implement and improve HR procedures; ensure consistent application across departments and contractors.
  • Reporting: monthly HR dashboards (headcount, vacancies, turnover, absenteeism, training, overtime, diversity) using HRIS/Excel/Power BI.

Job Requirements

Must-haves

  • 3–5+ years HR experience, previous experience in industrial, mining, oil & gas is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of Surinamese labor law and HR best practices.
  • Hands-on with HRIS and time & attendance (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors/Workday; UKG/Kronos or similar).
  • Strong communication skills;comfortable on the pit/plant and in the office.
  • Languages:Dutch & English (professional);Sranan Tongo conversational is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with unions/collective agreements; incident investigations.
  • Exposure to rotational workforces, camp admin,and contractor management.
  • HSE awareness training,Lean/Continuous Improvement,or HR certification.

Position 2: Finance Supervisor

Job Description

We urgently need to hire a experienced Finance Supervisor an experienced and oversee our daily accounting and financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and leading a team of accountants. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in accounting principles and a passion for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accounting compliance with Suriname standards;
  • Responsible for SAP voucher input and documents safekeeping;
  • Responsible for the month-end closing of SAP and local reports in time;
  • Responsible for monthly tax calculation and declaration, annually company income tax settlement, etc., to ensure compliance with laws and regulations ;
  • Responsible for the review and payment of salaries for local employees;
  • Responsible for the communication with local auditors and authorities ,prepare the required documents.
  • Timely collection and feedback of the latest local fiscal and taxation policies
  • Other tasks assigned by the Chinese manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in finance/accounting, at least 3-5 years of experience as a financial supervisor in a famous company, mining experience preferred.
  • Familiar with Suriname’s local accounting laws, tax laws, and foreign exchange policies
  • Proficient in using SAP financial software, proficient in EXCEL, WORD, PPT and other office software.
  • Language requirements: English is the working language, knowing Chinese is preferred

Position 3: Cashier

Job Description

We are seeking a trustworthy Financial Cashier to manage our company’s daily financial transactions and ensure the accuracy and security of cash handling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing petty cash, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining precise financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping of cash/checks journal, and update related fund statements in time.
  • Online banking management, including purchasing payment, foreign exchange settlement, bank charge fee review, etc.
  • Responsible for the bank’s liaison affairs , filling and submitting bank required documents.
  • Issuing,recording,filling commercial invoices/receipts , as well as following the status of receivables collection.
  • Preparation salary funds for local and overseas employees, on-line salary payment preparing and submitting.
  • Cash and bank balances reconciliation and physical cash counting with supervisor at the end of the month
  • Other adhoc job assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

  • College degree or above, major in finance or economic, more than 3 years of cashier experience in a well-known company
  • Be familiar with the local banking operation procedures , document preparation and submitting procedures, foreign exchange business and offshore account operation.
  • Proficient in using office tools such as EXCEL, WORD, PPT , and familiar with using SAP cashier module .
  • English can be used as working language, knowing Chinese is preferred .

Position 4:  Legal Specialist

This position requires a meticulous professional capable of anticipating legal challenges, developing preventive strategies, and resolving disputes through sophisticated risk assessment. The successful candidate will serve as a crucial partner to company, ensuring legal compliance while supporting sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to: vendor agreements, client contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), service agreements, and partnership agreements.
  • Ensure the company’s operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate exposure and provide training to internal teams on legal best practices and risk awareness.

Position 5:  Warehouse Operator

Job Description

The Operator Warehouse is committed to delivering a safe and efficient warehouse service, perform daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your work will contribute to optimal warehouse operations, as well as seeking ways to continually improve, ensuring that we are well placed for future growth within our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and count incoming goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Update inventory records using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
  • Pick, pack, and label orders according to requirements for shipment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and perform basic maintenance.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety, complying with company policies.
  • Assist in cycle counts and report any inventory discrepancies.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in warehouse or logistics is a plus.

Position 6:  Mine Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and skilled Mine Driver to operate heavy-duty equipment at the mine site, primarily focused on transporting ore, waste rock, and other materials. This role demands the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate must strictly adhere to safety protocols and thrive in a challenging mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate mining trucks (e.g., articulated dump trucks, rigid haul trucks) and other heavy equipment.
  • Transport ore, overburden, and waste rock between the pit, crusher, and waste dumps.
  • Perform pre-start checks, complete inspection logs, and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
  • Strictly comply with all mine safety regulations, traffic rules, and environmental policies.
  • Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, shift supervisors, and other equipment operators.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and basic maintenance for the assigned equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Valid license or certification for operating heavy equipment/haul trucks.
  • Proven experience operating heavy trucks in a mining or similar industrial setting.
  • Excellent situational awareness and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work in a shift roster (including nights) and maintain sound judgment under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
